Thomas Koenig | LE DOMESTIQUE ET LA FAUSSE PISTE | 2011

Thomas KOENIG, LE DOMESTIQUE ET LA FAUSSE PISTE Exhibition from april 15 to june 18 2011

The gallery Kissthedesign presents the new production of the young swiss artist Thomas KOENIG *1983 from 15th april to 18th june 2011.
The exhibition will include the new edition project of the FLAC (Fondation Lausannoise pour l’Art Contemporain) L’action Lausanne contemporain at Kissthedesign with a limited edition by Thomas Koenig.

Thomas Koenig’s work is hard to classify, he works with every medias and recycles everything, from pop culture to most different materials, no matter if mass produced or do it yourself.
He plays with art codes, he raises bad taste and low cost to luxury art goods and the pedestal get over the artwork.
In this context of dissonance, duplication, curious combination or accidents, the dialogue between Thomas Koenig’s work and the mid century design furniture of the gallery should be very exciting!
