For his third solo show at Kissthedesign gallery, the swiss artist Tenko (*1980), present his new work.

Tenko, who mainly works on drawing and painting, develops a unique style where abstraction and figuration, as well as well as biomorphism and geometry cohabit and form a moving and fascinating cryto-narrative ensemble.

BIOGRAPHY

Tenko *1980, graduated from the Ecole d’Arts Appliqués in La Chaux de Fonds (CH) in 2005, lives and works as an artist in La Chaux de Fonds. Since 2010 he teaches experimental painting at the academy De Meuron in Neuchâtel

His work has been exhibited in Switzerland and in Europe, among other at in Kissthedesign gallery (2010 and 2012), Galerie C, Neuchâtel, Musée des Beaux-Arts de La Chaux-de-Fonds, Galerie Daeppen, Bâle, Galerie Issue, Paris, Ex-machina, Genève, Artung, La Chaux-de-Fonds, La Placette, Lausanne, SLICK, Paris, etc. In 2009 he is awarded by the fondation Hugenin Dumittan at the 69th Biennale of La Chaux-de-Fonds and in 2012 he gets the Jury prize at the 70th Biennale of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Since 2012 his work is part of the public contemporary art collection of the canton of Neuchâtel
