Rare small typewriter desk mod. 4752 by George Nelson for Herman Miller
The small Typewriter desk here available is a rare exemplary from the 50’s no longer in production. The desk is functional it can be easily moved thanks to castors, its compact size was designed to fit the size of the typewriter. The model has drawers and a rectractable basket in perforated metal for hanging files. Today, it can be used as a console or a side desk.
This great vintage collector’s item is very rare and show the typical warm and minimal style of George Nelson’s mid century design.
George Nelson (1908-1986) is a major designer of the american mid century modern like Charles Eames. He was also a very influent director of design at Herman Miller.
