Elephant stool by Sori Yanagi, first production Kotobuki, 1954
The “Elephant stool” is an iconic piece designed by Japanese designer Sori Yanagi (1915-2011). The stool, that is now relaunched by Vitra in plastic, was inspired by Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier and is here available in the early japanese production by Kotobuki and is made of fiberglass. A true collector’s item for mid century modern design lovers.
