Vintage 3-seater sofa in the manner of Gio Ponti, Italian design from the 50’s
This Italian 3 seater sofa was purchased in the 1960s to furnish a luxury boutique in Saint-Tropez, together with an armchair in the manner of Paolo Buffa.
Although the informations on the sofa has unfortunately been lost, its origin is Italian and its design reminds of the creations of master designers such as Gio Ponti, Carlo De Carli or Ico Parisi. The typical elegance of the Italian design of the 50’s can be recognized with the tubular feet in black lacquered metal and brass ends.
The model is very valuable and shows an high quality handcraft. the sofa here available has been newly upholstered with a blue velvet and cream-coloured leather.
