Sideboard, George Satink, WK Möbel, 1952.
German designer George Satink’s sideboard for WK Möbel is perfectly sized for narrow spaces, as it feature a depth of only 35 cm. There is little known furniture designed by George Satink, but this sideboard from the WK-Satink Wohnprogramm collection has quickly become a classic of German vintage design. This typical 1950s model is hard to find outside of Germany because the manufacturer was mainly selling locally.
The sideboard is made of walnut with one black lacquered door, the interior has a height-adjustable shelf on each side and still retains the manufacturer’s tag. No longer in production.
