Quinta chair by Mario Botta for Alias, 1986.
Swiss architect Mario Botta is born in 1943 in Mendrisio, Switzerland. During his architecture studies in Venice, he works with Le Corbusier and Luis Kahn. Famous for his architecture production, he also designed furniture, lamps and accessories mostly during the 80’s, where he works with Italian companies like Alias or Artemide.
He designed many seats for Alias, among other the 5 chairs models Prima, Seconda, Quinta, 91 and Latonda. Today only Prima and Seconda are still in production.
Chair with chrome-plated tubular steel frame and perforated metal seat and back. No longer in production.
In very good condition with slight wear.
