Nilla Rosa screen, Mario Botta, Alias, 1993.
Born in Mendrisio, Mario Botta is an internationally renowned Swiss architect who worked with Le Corbusier during his studies in Venice.
Mainly known for his architectural production that reinvents the simplest forms, he has also created furniture, lamps and accessories, particularly in the 1980s when he collaborated with Italian brands such as Alias and Artemide.
Designed in 1993 for Alias (no longer in production today), the Nilla Rosa screen is composed of two triangular structures in perforated epoxy steel, creating a splendid kinetic effect.
