Walnut Groove mirror, design Boris Dennler, 2014
Walnut Groove by Boris Dennler is composed of 10 triangles of mirrors graphically affixed to a solid walnut frame. The large fairy-tale mirror (ca. 100 x 70 cm) is entirely hand made in Switzerland, and shows a cool retro look yet very contemporary. The up and coming swiss designer is known for the handcrafted quality of his work.
Boris Dennler is a self-taught designer, he aims to work different styles and like to experiment with upcycling. His most iconic works, like the Wooden Heap cabinet, are part of prestigious collections, like in the London Victoria & Albert Museum, Uli Sigg in Luzern and the Pierre Bergé foundation.
