Big Diamond chair and ottoman design by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, 1952.
The sculptor and designer Harry Bertoia (1915 – 1971) works with metal wire. The diamond collection from the 50’s is probably the most popular, it features the Diamond chair, the big Diamond and the Bird chair.
Large Diamond chair with ottoman. Wire frame made of polished chrome steel rods with original grey fabric upholstery. Early exemplar from the 70’s. The chair shows some professional re-weld, the original grey fabric is slightly discoloured from the sun and the upholstery is a bit dry on the armrests. The ottoman is in very good vintage condition.
