Floor light 4055, Luigi Bandini Buti, Kartell, 1965
Luigi Bandini Buti, is an architect and ergonomist. Graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 1955, he collaborated with the most important architects in Milan (Ignazio Gardella, Marco Zanuso, Franco Albini).
The floor lamp 4055 is Luigi Bandini Buti’s most famous model and a fine example of radical Italian design from 1965 to 1975. The reflector is height adjustable and the base is rotating. No longer in production.
Large floor lamp with white lacquered metal base and structure with height-adjustable reflector in plexiglass. Good condition with wear and some lack of lacquer.
