Diplomat table, Finn Juhl, Cado, 1961.
The rare and large Diplomat table made of Brazilian rosewood was originally designed to furnish embassies and consulates all around the world. The table is no longer in production and in very good condition with strong patina and visible wear on the top. It still retains the original manufacturer’s tag.

Finn Juhl (1912-1989) is considered like the father of Danish modernism. His furniture reflects an emphasis on craftsmanship and organic forms. Finn Juhl created an historic design that came to have international consequences for Denmark as a design nation during the 20th century. His style became known as Danish Modern.
