The Pedestal Collection is probably the most famous Saarinen and Knoll creation. With this design Saarinen wanted to resolve the “ugly, confusing, unrestful world” underneath chairs and tables. The tulip tables and chairs stand now as reference for modern design from the 50’s.
Set of 6 tulip chairs with white enameled fiberglas shell. Base in moulded cast iron aluminum coated with «Rilsan». Cushion covered with black fabric.
