Dome light, design Matteo Zorzenoni, limited edition for Kissthedesign Gallery.
The Dome light was designed by Italian designer Matteo Zorzenoni (*1978) in 2013 for the exhibition Céramique I at Kissthedesign Gallery in Lausanne together with the Shade light and the black Ninfea vase.
Matteo Zorzenoni’s research is mainly focused on materials and their limits that brings to the discovery of their potentiality. His projects have been exhibited at: Milan design week, Maxxi Museum in Rome, Biennale d’Art et Design of St. Etienne, London Design Festival, Biennale of Venice, Kissthedesign Gallery. He has been teacher at IUAV of Venice, cooperates with IED in Madrid and he hosted workshop for Domaine de Boisbuchet (Vitra Design Museum). He started his career at the Fabrica, Benetton Communication Research Center, he now collaborates with Jaime Hayon. He designed lamps and accessories for manufacturer’s like Cappellini, MM Lampadari, Alcantara, Bosa Ceramiche, etc.
