Mazzega belongs to the glassmakers from Murano active in the design field like Vistosi or Venini. The floor light is certainly the most iconic model by the Italian manufacturer. The elegant and organic lamp was designed in the 60’s by Carlo Nason, it produces a subtle and warm light.
There are many variations of the floor lamp, but this one is by far the most sought after by mid century design collectors.
Italian designer Carlo Nason is born in 1935 in one of the oldest Murano family. He worked with many manufacturers among them Mazzega and Leucos.
Floor lamp made of mouth-blown Murano glass. Model no longer in production in very good condition with wear and oxidation on the metal part.
