The Pelican is a beautiful seating designed in 1940, its organic form is a good example of the way in which Finn Juhl has been inspired by modern art. Typical of Finn Juhl, the Pelican is very comfortable and manufactured according to best craftsmanship traditions with hand-sewn upholstery.

The danish designer Finn Juhl collection is relaunched since 1999 by danish manufacturer One Collection. The collection is handcrafted in Danemark and some pieces in Japan in collaboration with the Wilhelm Hansen foundation (Finn Juhl’s spouse).
His furniture reflects an emphasis on craftsmanship and organic forms. Finn Juhl created an historic design that came to have international consequences for Denmark as a design nation. His style became known as Danish Modern.
