Alanda coffee table, Paolo Piva, B&B Italia ca. 1980
Paolo Piva (1950-2017) is an internationally renowned Italian architect who studied in Venice under Carlo Scarpa. In the 1980s, his design for the Kuwaiti Embassy in Qatar attracted critical and public attention. In parallel to his work as an architect, he has been interested in industrial design and has collaborated with major brands including Poliform, De Sede, B&B Italia and Wittmann Austria.
The Alanda coffee table available here has a large glass top. It rests on a metal structure lacquered in a very rare “light mint” colour recalling a group of inverted pyramids. Dimensions: 120 x 120 cm. H= 27 cm.
