Rare set of 4 executive side chairs by Eero Saarinen, for Knoll Wohnbedarf.
Knoll produces the Saarinen’s Executive chair for more than 60 years, but the model here available with birch plywood back is today extremely rare, as it was produced only on a short time. This set of 4 chairs is an early version, very hard to find, manufactured by Knoll for Wohnbedarf in Switzerland, as it can be read on the tags visible on 2 chairs. Its wooden back has beautifully aged and shows nice patina, much more desirable than the standard upholstered version that is still in production. The seat has been newly upholstered with a Savanna fabric by Kvadrat, in a black and cream pattern for a vintage and natural look.

Very good condition with wear and patina on the wooden back, the fabric is new.
