David HOUNCHERINGER, TRAVAUX RECENTS
Exhibition from february 25 to april 9 2011
The gallery Kissthedesign presents the new production of the young swiss photographer David Houncheringer from the 25th of february to the 9th of april 2011.
David Houncheringer’s work shows different aspects like glossy and precise “mise en scène”, realistic portraits or more formal light’s experimentation. The works shown in the exhibition are all from 2011 and partly produced for the particular space of the gallery.
David Houncheringer’s style is at the same time fabulous and documentary. His staged work shows a fictional research with visibly artificial and sometimes eery situations.
BIOGRAPHY
David Houncheringer *1983 in Switzerland, graduate from the Ecole de Photographie in Vevey in 2003, lives and works as a photographer in Neuchâtel (CH). His work has been exhibited in Switzerland and France among other at gallery M2N, Paris, at the cité internationale des arts, Paris, 68ème biennale du Musée des beaux-arts of La Chaux-de-Fonds, etc. and awarded in 2009 with the studio-grant (cité internationale des arts of Paris) of the city of Neuchâtel.
Beside his artistic production, he works as high end advertising and editorial photographer, represented in Switzerland by la Succursale, www.la-succursale.ch . he is also active in vjing and in audiovisual installations.
